Vimal Kumar issues strict warning to Indian shuttlers

 

It has been over five months since the world has been battling with the pandemic spread. As people have been advised to stay at home and stay safe but carry on with their work indoors.

Award-winning Badminton coach Vimal Kumar is trying to emphasize indian athletes hit the ground in training after a two-month break.

Former India coach and now a director at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy [PPBA]  Kumar said the aim is to re-introduce the local shuttlers in the academy in Bengaluru smoothly. The process began in the third week of May as the government guidelines related to the sporting activities were eased to allow full training of resumption.

It’s almost a month since the resumption of the badminton activities in a court of play at the PPBA, and there has been no scare of any kind so far with the introduction of training carefully without any contrary thoughts in mind.

Kumar also revealed in an exclusive interview advising players to get on with the training, take responsibility, and “don’t mess up chances,” which he was very particular about, Which means no shutter should act irresponsibly so as not to return everyting to square one.
