Stephen Curry has hit some ridiculous shots in his glittering career, especially some insane three-pointers from distance. Curry was at his best in the Paris Olympics, which Team USA won by beating France 98-87 in the gold medal match.
Curry smashed four three pointers in the fag end of the final and his last shot was out of this world. Curry made four 3-pointers in the final 2:43, including the one that just sealed the win with 1:19 remaining.
Steph Curry, who scored 36 points against Serbia in the semifinal, added 24 points in the final, including eight three-pointers. The Golden State Warriors star averaged 14.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.7 steals per game at the Games.
“It’s so memorable because of the build-up to that moment,” Curry said in a video posted by Under Armour and Slam on Instagram. “My first Olympic experience. Four 3’s in a row to close out the gold medal game. And that last one which was kind of a ridiculous shot even by my standards. It’s like top 2 for sure.”
“It’s like top two for sure,” Curry said. “I think the OKC game, even though it wasn’t a championship game it was still kinda one of the Mike Breen double bang. Just a loud shot in our rise as a team.”
Curry was at his best in the Olympics and brought his best for the national team.
Golden State Warriors will begin their NBA 2024-25 season against the Portland Trail Blazers on 23rd October at the Moda Center.
