The King has shown why he is regarded as one of the best players in the NBA and he is doing a fine job for the LA Lakers along with his partner Anthony Davis. James has been in sublime form and he is making sure that the team benefits from the same.
In the fourth game of the playoff stages against the Portland Trail Blazers, the LA Lakers were too good for the opposition. The LA Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers by 135-115 to take a 3-1 lead in the seven match series, with Lebron James top-scoring for the winners with 30 points.
Meanwhile, LeBron James has played 13 NBA playoffs and the ongoing postseason is his 14th. James has played 243 matches in the playoffs in which he has scored more than 7000 points in his illustrious long career. In fact, nobody has scored even 6000 points in the playoffs. The King has an average of more than 28 in the playoffs.
Former legend Michael Jordan had scored 5987 points whereas Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had scored 5762 points.
Overall, LeBron James is at the third place in the list of highest points scored in the NBA. James had overtaken former LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant earlier this year. Bryant had scored 33643 points in his illustrious career. The 35-year James old has thus far scored 34241 points and counting in his career.
Kareen Abdul-Jabber has scored the most points in NBA history as he has scored 38387 points in his career. Karl Melone is in second place as he has amassed 36928 points in his career.
The fifth game between the LA Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers will be played on Thursday.
