Milwaukee Bucks were not able to go all the way in the previous season as their journey was ended after they lost to Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals by 4-1. Bucks had finished at the numero uno position in the last edition of the league stage and they will look to come up with another strong performance in the next season.
Meanwhile, a lot has been going around regarding the future of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP of the team had asked for more from the team and also had a meeting with the team’s owner. The Bucks fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the major trades were made for Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic.
The Bucks new starting five all averaged more than 12 points per game and former NBA player Kendrick Perkings feels the team will be a force to reckon with as they have the best starting five in the league right now.
Perkins said, “Right now, I’m looking at this Milwaukee Bucks team and they are winning. They have the best starting five in the NBA right now. Period.”
Apart from Giannis Antetokounmpo, players like Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Eric Bledsoe will hold the key for Milwaukee Bucks and they will look to bring their best to the table in the next season.
On the other hand, Phoenix Suns were able acquire the services of veteran guard Chris Paul. Paul is expected to make a lethal combination with Devin Booker. Perkins stated that the Suns will be front contenders to finish in the top five teams and it won’t be a surprise if they qualify for the Western conference finals in the next season.
Perkins added, “Chris Paul going paired with Devin Booker, one of the best scorers in today’s game, is going to be serious. The Phoenix Suns are a threat in the West. They’re going to be a top five team … and don’t be surprised if they make it to the Western Conference Finals.”
The next season of the NBA will begin from December 22.
