Golden State Warriors talisman Steph Curry is playing on another level. Curry has unleashed the Beast mode as he has been playing at the top of his game in the last two months. The 33-year old has been carrying the team on his shoulders and he has single-handedly defeated the opposition on many occasions in the ongoing season.
Curry is averaging an astonishing 36.8 points per game since April with 15 games with 30+ games as he is playing at the peak of his prowess. Curry has scored more than 30 points in five out of the last matches for the team and GSW has been able to win four out of the previous six matches.
Meanwhile, Steve Kerr shared the court with Michael Jordan, who kept coming up with such unbelievable performances. Kerr compared Curry’s hot run with Michael Jordan.
“He’s reminding me of MJ in that you just get so used to the brilliance and the excellence, it sort of blends in with everything else,” Kerr said.
“It just becomes routine. It’s insane to say that because what you’re watching is otherworldly, and yet you sort of begin to expect it. That’s probably the purest sign of greatness.”
Moreover, Kerr also compared Curry with San Antonio Spurs legend, Tim Duncan.
“The combination of humility and humor and then total confidence on the floor. It’s such an amazing combination,” Kerr explained.
GSW currently have a 33-32 record. Curry scored 41 points against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night and he will look to continue his dream run as he has been playing out of this world. GSW will next face the same team on Tuesday night.
