We’ve done too much talking – James Harden rules out players-only meeting as Brooklyn Nets’ lose their sixth straight game

Brooklyn Nets talisman James Harden has ruled out players-only meeting after the team lost their sixth match on the bounce. Harden feels that they have done too much talking and it is time to execute their skills on the court and play up to their potential.

Brooklyn Nets lost their sixth match on the trot as they were bested by Sacramento Kings by 112-101 on Wednesday night. Nic Claxton scored 23 points for the Nets but his efforts went in vain as the opposition were able to come up with a better performance. James Harden had a horrible day at the office as he scored four points on 2-of-11 shooting.

With this loss, Brooklyn Nets currently has a 29-22 record and they will need to come up with a better show in the upcoming matches.

“No, I think we’ve done too much talking. We got to go out there and do it consistently. We have times where we are great and we have times where we are really bad. Just got to find some consistency throughout the course of the games, more times than not.”

Harden added that there are no concerns despite the team’s poor performance. The linchpin believes his team will be able to make a solid comeback.

“There’s no concern. We have different lineups, we got guys in and out of lineups, injuries whatever… We just trying to figure out what works best – what guys fit, what guys don’t. It’s all a process. Obviously, we’re going through a tough stretch where we’re losing. It’d be great if we can win some of these games. But we’re not. With that being said, we just got to keep finding ways… Hopefully, just finish this into the break and hopefully after the break we can potentially get our full roster and start taking sides in the right direction.”

Meanwhile, Harden’s four-point is his lowest tally in a game when he has played at least 20 minutes. Harden did struggle with his shooting and it led to the downfall of the team.

Brooklyn Nets will look to end their losing streak when they will next face Utah Jazz on Friday.
