LA Lakers star player LeBron James continues to surprise one and all with his consistent performances despite turning 37 last December. James is playing at the top of his game and as always he has been a lone warrior for the Lakers.
King James has been in sublime form and recently scored 30+ points in seven consecutive matches for the Lakers and became the oldest player in the team’s history to achieve the coveted milestone after Kobe Bryant.
James has been averaging 28.9 ppg in the ongoing season and he is only behind Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant, who is averaging 29.3 ppg, among the offensive leaders of the NBA. Akron Hammer has been at his best for the Lakers but he hasn’t received support from his teammates. Thus, the Lakers currently have a 21-22 win-loss record and are currently placed in the eighth position in the Western Conference standings.
James scored 25 points in the team’s previous match against Denver Nuggets but still his team lost by a gargantuan margin of 37 points as they were hammered by 133-96.
“We talk about Bron. He’s looking incredible. What he’s doing is different. He’s on a different regimen as far as the body and everything to keep up,” Kevin Garnett said while talking to Paul Pierce.
“But what he’s doing at 37 is crazy,” Garnett added.
Paul Pierce on the other hand added that James can be among the MVP of this season as he is coming up with incredible performances.
James will look to continue his good show but he will hope for more support from his teammates. The veteran has been a lone warrior for the team and there is no doubt that the Lakers are missing the services of Anthony Davis.
LA Lakers have lost their last three matches and they will look to put paid to their losing streak in their next match against Utah Jazz, which they will play on Monday.
