The contest for which the whole of the cricket world awaits for a year and sometimes a couple of years will be available for the second time in a week’s time as India will once again take on their foe rivals, Pakistan. The venue will be the same and also the day (Sunday) as another humdinger could be on the cards for cricket aficionados.
The hype and the razzmatazz didn’t disappoint as both of these teams had played a thriller on 28th August and had kept the fans on the edge of their seats and not many nails were spared by the nervous teeths that night. It was definitely not the contest for the light-hearted as the pendulum swung from one side to the other.
Its a another day, another match, and as they say that the past doesn’t matter in sport, the players will need to start from scratch once again. India will be determined to take the proceedings from where they left off but a crucial cog in Ravindra Jadeja will be missing from Rohit Sharma’s troops as he has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Pakistan, on the other hand, won by a gargantuan margin of 155 runs against Hong Kong and their young fast bowlers had proved their mettle against India. In fact, Pakistan bowlers dominated in such a way that none of the Hong Kong batters were able to reach a double-digit score.
The Men in Blue hasn’t been that convincing with the bat and they will look to turn the tables against a potent Pakistan pace battery.
Match Prediction: India might start as favorites once again versus Pakistan given their knack for winning big matches against their neighbors.
