Asia Cup 2025: India vs Sri Lanka, Super Fours – Stats Preview

India will square off against Sri Lanka in the last Super Fours contest of the ongoing Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Friday. The Men in Blue have failed to bring their best in the field and they would aim to fill in the holes against the Island country.

As India has already qualified for the final, they could make changes to their playing XI to give other players a go. Jasprit Bumrah could be rested and Arshdeep Singh can take his place in the team.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, would want to deliver a better performance as they haven’t been at their best with the bat.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya needs three wickets to become the second Indian bowler after Arshdeep Singh to complete 100 scalps in T20Is. He needs four sixes to complete 100 maximums in T20Is.

Suryakumar Yadav needs two sixes to complete 150 maximums in T20Is. He needs eight more fours to reach 250 boundaries in the shortest format.

Tilak Varma needs two sixes to complete 50 maximums in T20Is.

Kusal Mendis needs seven fours to complete 200 boundaries in T20Is. 

Kamindu Mendis needs six fours to complete 50 boundaries in T20Is.

Charith Asalanka needs seven fours to complete 100 boundaries in T20Is.
