India took a 2-1 lead in the series after winning the penultimate game convincingly by 48 runs. Axar Patel was awarded Player of the Match after his all-round performance. Patel scored a fine little cameo of 11-ball 21 and then scalped 2-20 in his quota of four overs.
Australia could not chase down 168 runs, and they would want to come up with an improved batting show against the tourists.
