Royal Challengers Bengaluru veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has shed light on the viral dance with Virat Kohli after IPL 2026. RCB had successfully defended their IPL title after they defeated Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 final.
After winning their second consecutive title, Kumar and Kohli were seen dancing together during the celebrations. Kohli uploaded the video on his Instagram story while doing ‘Kikli’ step with Bhuvneshwar. The fast bowler was not aware about the same and got to know a bit later that Kohli had uploaded the dance video.
“The season was over, and I was showing where it’s paining. Virat just called and we started dancing. The idea to lift the leg was mine, and I said let’s do it. I found out after half an hour of him putting it up as a story. Someone told me and then I saw it,” Bhuvneshwar Kumar said in a video shared by UPT20 on YouTube.
Kumar is not known for his dancing and he revealed that the other occasion he shaked his leg was at Rinku Singh’s engagement.
“Make me do anything, but there is no point in making me dance. It was Rinku’s engagement. I told them I had to leave so they made me dance a bit before leaving. Because I did, Rinku had to as well. He tells me even today that because of me, he also had to dance.”
The veteran fast bowler revealed that Virat Kohli lkes to mimic everyone.
“Virat mimics everyone. He can mimic anyone. He has that class. In this, he is more talented than his batting,” he said.
The UP pacer said they used to play video games after matches.
“Vicky Ostwal is good. Vihaan as well. Mostly the new guys are good. We had a ritual that after the game, we would go back to the team room and play. Anything, but we had to play for an hour.”
Kumar scalped 28 wickets in 16 matches of IPL 2026 and played a key role in RCB’s win.
