Australia will square off against South Africa in the ongoing Champions Trophy at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on Tuesday. Both of these powerhouses had won their respective opening matches and they will look to carry the winning impetus.
While South Africa registered a 107-run win against Afghanistan, Australia secured a five-wicket win against arch-rivals England. Australia are without the pace trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood but once again showed that it is not prudent to write them off in a major ICC event. Josh Inglis scored an impressive hundred against the Three Lions whereas Alex Carey and Matthew Short also delivered with the bat.
On the other hand, the Proteas are coming with more consistent performances in the big events and they would look to tick the right boxes against Australia.
