Champions Trophy 2025: Bangladesh vs New Zealand – Stats Preview

Bangladesh will square off against New Zealand in the sixth match of the ongoing Champions Trophy at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on Monday. It will be a must-win contest for the Tigers whereas the Kiwis would look to carry their good show in the eight-team tournament after win against Pakistan.

Will Young was able to grab his opportunity with both hands as he scored a fine century against Pakistan after replacing Rachin Ravindra in the playing XI. Furthermore, Tom Latham was able to pace his innings with guile as he also scored a brilliant hundred.

On the other hand, Towhid Hridoy scored an impressive century against India but Bangladesh’s top order must come to the party. Rishad Hossain was also right on the money for the Tigers against India.

Kane Williamson needs three fours to complete 650 fours in ODIs.

Daryl Mitchell needs 11 fours to reach 150 boundaries in ODIs.

Rachin Ravindra requires 30 runs to complete 1000 runs in the ODI format.

Glenn Phillips needs four runs to complete 1000 runs in the ODI format. The right-hander needs seven sixes to reach the 50 maximums.

Mitchell Santner needs 100 runs to reach the 1500-run mark in the 50-over version.

Devon Conway needs 99 runs to reach the 1500-run mark in the 50-over version.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto needs 12 runs to complete 1500 runs in ODIs.

Mushfiqur Rahim needs one more fifty to complete 50 fifties.
