The three times champions Chennai Super Kings will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 14th match of the IPL 2020 at Dubai International Stadium on 2nd October. Hyderabad had won their previous contest against DC and they would be looking to continue the good show whereas CSK have lost their last two matches.
We bring you the Match Prediction , which can help you in placing the right bets. We will consider current form, stats, head to head and players to watch out for.
Current form:
CSK have lost their last two games and it is a rare sight to see them at the bottom of the points table. However, one can never write off a team like CSK. MS Dhoni-led team will need to come up with a better batting performance as they are struggling to keep up with required run rate. Their spinners will also need to tighten the screws.
On the other hand, SRH showed why they have one of the best bowling attacks in the league in their previous match. Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were at their best whereas T Natarajan was brilliant with his execution of yorkers. Warner and Bairstow are doing a fine job at the top but the middle order will need to come up with better performances.
Head to Head:
Total matches in IPL – 12, Won by CSK – 9, Won by SRH – 3.
Overall matches – 13, Won by CSK – 10, Won by SRH – 3.
Players to watch out for:
Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo have recovered and they are expected to be part of the final XI. Faf du Plessis has shown great form with the bat and he is going to be crucial for CSK. Deepak Chahar and Piyush Chawla will be important bowlers.
Warner, Bairstow, Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson will be pivotal batsmen for SRH.
Match Prediction:
CSK will hold the advantage over SRH as Rayudu and Bravo are expected to return to the final XI. MS Dhoni-led team has a great record against Orange Army and they would aim to continue the same.
