After a humdinger third Test match at Lord’s, Test cricket fans will hope for another spectacle in the fourth game of the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, set to be played at Old Trafford, Manchester, from Wednesday. England was able to bowl out India at 170 while defending 193 runs and their bowling unit deserves a lot of credit.
India has some injury woes in the bowling department with Nitish Kumar Reddy (whole series), Arshdeep Singh, and Akash Deep ruled out of the fourth Test. This could present an opportunity to Anshul Kamboj, or India could be tempted to give another go to Prasidh Krishna, who looked toothless in the first two games.
Karun Nair’s form is a concern for the visitors and it would be interesting to note if they would be able to accommodate Kuldeep Yadav in the final XI.
England, on the other hand, has made one change, with Liam Dawson replacing injured Shoaib Bashir.
