In fact, Smith started his career as a leg-spinner but developed his batting to become one of the best red-ball batsmen of the current era.

Smith has also been named in ICC’s Test team of the decade for his impressive performances in the last ten years.

Smith has a great record while playing against teams like India and England and he has delivered the goods in all kinds of conditions. Smith has an initial trigger moment, which makes the bowlers ball on his pad but the right-hander is strong on his pads.

Smith will look to continue his good show going but he isn’t in the best of forms in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy against India. The right-hander has only scored 10 runs in the two Test matches against India and he will look to turn the tables in the next two games.
