India will take on Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday. The hosts won the opening match convincingly by seven wickets in Gwalior with 49 balls to spare as they proved too good for the visitors to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The home team came up with a comprehensive bowling performance as they were able to skittle out the Tigers at 127. Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy were right on the money for Team India, bagging three wickets apiece in their respective spells.
Furthermore, Mayank Yadav impressed on his debut, returning with 1-21. Moreover, Hardik Pandya came up with an all-round performance as he took a wicket and also scored a quickfire knock of 16-ball 39.
Sanju Samson scored 29 runs and the Kerala batter will be determined to convert his starts into substantial scores to cement his place in the team.
