India will lock horns against England in the fourth T20I at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Friday. With the series at 2-1, both teams will look to bring their best in all three departments of the game.
India could not chase down 172 in the previous match and their batters would be disappointed with their outing. The hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals and the batters would want to put up more consistent performances against the English bowlers. The form of Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson will be a concern for the team as the duo haven’t been at their best in the first three games.
Indian bowlers, however, have been right on the money as the spinners have not allowed the opposition batters to break free in the middle overs. However, India’s think tank might ponder on the bowling combination as they are playing with only one specialist pacer and four spinners.
On the other hand, Ben Duckett and Liam Livingstone scored crucial runs for the visitors in the last game. Furthermore, Jofra Archer continued his rich form whereas Adil Rashid was absolutely brilliant with the ball in the middle overs, returning with 1-15 in his quota of four overs.
However, English batters would want to find answers to Indian spinners in the middle overs as it will be once again a crucial phase of the game.
