After a disappointing performance in the Test series, India would aim to bounce back strongly in ODIs. The Men in Blue had lost their last ODI series against Australia while playing away and they would look to make the most of their own conditions, which they could not do so in the Test series against the Proteas.

The hosts would be led by KL Rahul after Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer were ruled out with an injury. Yashasvi Jaiswal is expected to open the innings with Rohit Sharma and it would be interesting to note who would get the number four slot as players like Rishabh Pant, Dhruv Jurel and Ruturaj Gaikwad will wrestle for the spot.

On the other hand, South Africa will look to carry the same confidence and deliver a collective performance.

Rishabh Pant needs nine fours to complete 100 boundaries in ODIs.

South African captain Temba Bavuma needs 59 runs to complete 2000 ODI runs. He also needs five fours to complete 200 boundaries in the 50-over version.

Marco Jansen needs five wickets to complete 50 scalps in ODIs.

Quinton de Kock needs nine fours to reach 800 boundaries in ODIs.
