India will take on South Africa in the third ODI at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Tuesday. The three-match series is nicely poised at 1-1 and both teams will aim to bring their best to the table to clinch it.
South Africa won the first ODI by nine runs but India bounced back stronger to win the second game by seven wickets and leveled the series. India was able to come up with a good bowling performance after they restricted South Africa to 278 runs after Keshav Maharaj won the toss and decided to bat first in the second ODI.
Subsequently, Shreyas Iyer continued his rich vein of form as he scored an unbeaten knock of 113 runs whereas Ishan Kishan scored a fine knock of 93 runs for the home team. Both the batters batted at the top of their game to get their team over the line.
On the other hand, Mohammed Siraj scalped three wickets and conceded only 38 runs in the 10 overs he bowled. Siraj was impressive while bowling in the death overs as he conceded only 18 runs in the last four overs he bowled.
