India and South Africa will lock horns against one another in the third T20I at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. The tourists have taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series as they won the second T20I by four wickets at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
India hasn’t been at their best and they will look to get back into the series. All the remaining matches will be do or die affair for the home side and they will look to come up with a collective effort.
India could only post 148 runs on the board after their batters could not get going on a tricky pitch. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was brilliant with the ball as he scalped four wickets in his spell and he was one of the positives for the team. India will need to pull up their socks with both bat and ball and they would look to bounce back stronger.
On the other hand, South Africa have ticked the right boxes. Heinrich Klaasen replaced Quinton de Kock in the second T20I and he was able to grab his chance with both hands. Klaasen went on to score a fine knock of 81 runs off just 46 balls and batted like as if he was batting on a different pitch.
Furthermore, Kagiso Rabada bowled at the top of his game and breathed down the neck of the opposition batters.
Match Prediction: With winning momentum on their side, South Africa will begin as favorites against India.
