India vs Sri Lanka 2023, 2nd ODI – Dafanews Match Preview

India will take on Sri Lanka in the second ODI at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday. The home team had taken a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the first game convincingly by 67 runs after coming up with a collective show.

Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli delivered with the bat in the first game and they will look to continue the same. Furthermore, Mohammed Siraj was brilliant with the new ball whereas Umran Malik also took three wickets to deliver the goods.

Sri Lanka was not at their best with the ball in the opening game and they had to pay the price for their poor show. All the bowlers were expensive and they were never in the chase after losing quick wickets in the first five overs. Ergo, Sri Lanka will need to turn the tables against the potent Indian team.
