India vs West Indies, 2nd Test, Delhi – Match Preview

India had no problems in brushing a beleaguered West Indies aside and the home team would look to continue their supremacy. The hosts were too good in Ahmedabad and the visitors can expect the same ruthless treatment if they don’t pull up their socks.

India’s assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate said the team is unlikely to tinker with their winning combination. Sai Sudharsan was dismissed after scoring only seven runs and the left-hander would want to get a big score to cement his place in the Test team.

Jasprit Bumrah is also likely to play, as he has been rested from the ODI series against Australia. India was clinical in every department of the game and they would once again look to get the job done against the Windies. Ravindra Jajdeja, KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel scored fine centuries, whereas Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav were able to deliver with the ball.

On the other hand, the West Indies’ batters could not deliver in the opening Test as they were bowled out for 162 and 146 and thus they must come up with an improved batting show. Shai Hope and Roston Chase will hold the key for the tourists. The Windies will also want a better start from their top order.
