Lucknow Super Giants will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 31st match of the 15th season of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Dr. DY Sports Academy, Mumbai on Tuesday.
Lucknow has won four out of their six matches whereas RCB has also managed the same record.
Both of these teams had won their respective previous matches and they would want to continue the winning impetus. LSG had beaten Mumbai Indians by 18 runs whereas RCB had got the better of Delhi Capitals by 16 runs.
Both LSG and RCB have ticked the right boxes and they will aim to continue the same form. KL Rahul had led the team from the front in the previous match as he scored a fine hundred against the five-time champions.
On the other hand, Dinesh Karthik continued his dream run as he smashed 66 runs off just 34 balls while Glenn Maxwell also scored a fine fifty against the Rishabh Pant-led team. Furthermore, Mohammed Siraj had a better outing whereas Josh Hazlewood was right on the money.
However, RCB will want more contribution from their top-order – Faf du Plessis, Anuj Rawat, and Virat Kohli. The former RCB skipper is yet to fire at full cylinders and he would want to get back to his best.
Match Prediction: RCB will enter the contest as favorites against LSG given their balance.
