IPL 2022: Picks for the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings

Royal Challengers Bangalore will go head to head against Punjab Kings in the 60th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Friday.

It is imperative for both these teams to be at the top of their game in the last few matches in order to make it to the playoff stages.

We take a look at Picks for the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings. We will look at head-to-head records, stats, and players to look out for in the upcoming match.

Current form for RCB: W W L L L

RCB will want to be consistent in the business end of the tournament. Rajat Patidar has been a big positive in the batting order for RCB whereas Faf du Plessis had played a good knock in the previous match and he will look to continue his good form. The bowling unit has also done a good job for RCB but they need to be more consistent.

Current form for PBKS: L W L W L

Punjab Kings have been inconsistent in the ongoing IPL 2022 as they have failed to win two matches on the trot. The Mohali-based franchise had posted 189 runs against RR in the previous match but failed to defend it. All the bowlers except for Arshdeep Singh were expensive in their respective spells.

Head to Head: Matches: 29, Won by PBKS: 16, Won by RCB: 13.

PBKS holds a head-to-head advantage against RCB and had also won the last encounter against Faf du Plessis-led team earlier in the season.

Players to watch out for: Mayank Agarwal, Shikhar Dhawan, Shahrukh Khan, Liam Livingstone, Kagiso Rabada, and Arshdeep Singh will be the key players for PBKS.

Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, Mohammed Siraj, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Harshal Patel are going to hold the key for RCB.

PBKS Predicted Playing XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal (c), Jitesh Sharma (WK), Liam Livingstone, Jonny Bairstow, Shahrukh Khan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep Singh, Rishi Dhawan, Kagiso Rabada.
