Sharjah Warriors will take on MI Emirates in the sixth match of the ongoing International League T20 2023 at the Sharjah Cricket Ground, Sharjah on Tuesday. Sharjah Warriors have lost both of their matches and Moeen Ali would want to help his team turn the tables.
On the other hand, MI Emirates had gotten off to a good start as they had won their opening game of the tournament.
When these two teams met earlier, MI Emirates won comprehensively by a margin of 49 runs. Furthermore, Sharjah Warriors lost their second match of the season against Desert Vipers by seven wickets. Thus, the Warriors haven’t been able to put up a decent fight in their two matches.
The Warriors need to come up with a better batting performance as they haven’t been at their best in the first two matches. The likes of Evin Lewis, Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, and Joe Denly will need to take more onus.
On the other hand, MI Emirates posted a par score of 204 runs against Sharjah Warriors in their opening game after Muhammad Waseem, Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard delivered with the bat. Furthermore, Imran Tahir, Dwayne Bravo, and Fazalhaq Farooqi were right on the money with the ball.
