Delhi Capitals will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 50th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday. The Capitals have managed four wins in nine matches whereas SRH has won five out of their nine games.
Delhi lost their previous match against Lucknow Super Kings by six runs while the Orange Army also suffered a loss against CSK in their previous fixture. Thus, both of these will look to get back to the winning ways.
Delhi had conceded 195 runs in their previous game against LSG and their bowlers need to be more consistent. Furthermore, their batters are getting off to starts but they haven’t been able to convert them into a substantial score.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad has veered off the track in the last couple of matches. SRH had won five matches in a row but they have lost their last two games. Ergo, the Kane Williamson-led team will look to bounce back stronger.
Except for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, almost every SRH bowler had an off-outing against CSK. Furthermore, the injury to Washington Sundar was a big blow for the team. Nicholas Pooran was the lone warrior for the team with the bat against CSK.
