IPL 2022: Picks for the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings

Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns against Chennai Super Kings in the 49th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Wednesday. RCB has won five and lost as many in IPL 2022 and they will look to get back to winning ways.

On the other hand, CSK has managed only three wins in the nine games they have played. We take a look at Picks for the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. We will look at head-to-head records, stats, and players to look out for in the upcoming match.

Current form for RCB: L L L W W

Royal Challengers Bangalore have completed their hat-trick of losses and they will look to bounce back stronger against CSK. Virat Kohli had scored 58 runs in the previous match against Gujarat Titans and it must have added a shot in his arm as he isn’t in the best of forms in the ongoing season.

Current form for CSK: W L W L W

Chennai Super Kings must have gained a lot of confidence after a complete performance in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 85 and 99 runs respectively as both of them batted at their absolute best to add 182 runs for the opening stand.

Head to Head: Matches: 30, Won by CSK: 20, Won by RCB: 9, NR: 1.

CSK clearly holds the advantage against RCB in head-to-head battle. Chennai had won the previous match by 23 runs against RCB earlier in the season.
