IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans, Game 7 – Match Prediction

Delhi Capitals will host the reigning champions Gujarat Titans in the seventh match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Tuesday. Delhi had lost their opening fixture against Lucknow Super Giants by 50 runs and they will be looking to register their first win of the season.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans won their opening game against Chennai Super Kings by five wickets and they will aim to carry the winning impetus.

Despite the win, Gujarat Titans’ batting was exposed a bit against CSK. Apart from Shubman Gill, the top order failed to get going and they will need to contribute to the team’s success. The Titans also suffered a huge blow as Kane Williamson has been ruled out with a knee injury. However, David Miller’s addition will be a huge boost for the defending champions.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals could not come up with a collective batting show in the opening game against Lucknow Super Giants. They were rocked by Mark Wood, who scalped a five-wicket haul. Thus, the Capitals will want to come up with a better batting performance against the defending champions.

Moreover, the Capitals will also be boosted by the return of their gun pacer Anrich Nortje, who will add strength to their bowling attack.

Match Prediction: Delhi Capitals might start as favorites against Gujarat Titans in their own conditions.
