Delhi Capitals will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 50th match of the tournament at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Saturday. DC has failed to tick the right boxes so far in the tournament whereas RCB has had a mixed season so far.
When these two teams met earlier in the season, RCB won by 23 runs and they will be looking to replicate the same show. We look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.
Current form for RCB: W L W W L
Royal Challengers Bangalore won their last game against Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs after a terrific bowling performance. The batters could only manage 126 runs on the board but their bowlers were right on the money. Moreover, Josh Hazlewood’s return was a big boost for them.
Current form for DC: W L W W L
Delhi Capitals have won all of their three matches in the last five games. Just like Royal Challengers Bangalore, DC bowlers also did a fantastic job for them while defending a sub-par total of 130 runs against defending champions Gujarat Titans. Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel were brilliant for them.
