The defending champions Gujarat Titans will lock horns against Kolkata Knight Riders at their home venue of Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday. GT has won both of their matches and sits at the top of the points table whereas KKR has won one and lost one so far in IPL 2023.

The Hardik Pandya-led team could not have asked for a better start as they won their opening clash against CSK and then also won against DC while playing away. The bowlers had done a great job against DC and then Sai Sudharsan had played a match-winning knock of 62 runs.

KKR won their previous match against RCB by a huge margin of 81 runs and that win must have added a shot in their arm. Shardul Thakur rescued the team when they were struggling at 89-5 and then Varun Chakravarthy bowled a superb spell to take four wickets.
