IPL 2023: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants, Game 68 – Match Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders will face Lucknow Super Giants in the 68th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Saturday. LSG had won their previous match against Mumbai Indians, which boosted their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

A win against KKR will assure a playoff spot for LSG and even a top-two finish if CSK’ NRR remains inferior to them. LSG will play their match after CSK take on DC on Saturday and thus they will have a clear picture of NRR.

On the other hand, it will be a must-win match for KKR in order to get to 14 points and stand an outside chance of making it to the final four. KKR will want RCB to lose one of their matches and also SRH will have to beat MI for them to be in contention.

Meanwhile, KKR was able to keep themselves afloat with a six-wicket win against CSK in their previous match after a fine bowling performance from their veteran, Sunil Narine, who returned with figures of 2-15.

LSG’ also got the much-needed win against Mumbai Indians after a superb batting performance from Marcus Stoinis, who smashed a blistering knock of 89 runs. Furthermore, Mohsin Khan had bowled a terrific last over to defend 10 runs against MI.

Match Prediction: Lucknow Super Giants will enter this contest as favorites against Kolkata Knight Riders.
