The two teams – Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans – only into their second season of the IPL – have impressed with their consistency. They made it to the playoff stages in the previous season of the league and they look once again on the right track to go deep in IPL 2023.
LSG has won four out of the six they have played whereas GT has won three out of the five they played. We look at the current form, head-to-head, players to look out for, and squads of both teams in our match preview.
Current form for LSG: W L W W L
LSG bowling did a superb job in the previous match as they were able to defend 155 against a potent Rajasthan Royals’ batting unit. The KL Rahul-led team will look to make the most of their home conditions and come up with a collective show against the reigning champions.
Current form for GT: L W L W W
The Hardik Pandya-led has mostly ticked the right boxes and they have done a good job collectively. However, GT had lost their previous match against RR and they will be looking to get back to winning ways. The defending champions could only put 177 runs on the board and they will be looking to pull up their socks.
