Lucknow Super Giants next lock horns against Mumbai Indians at the 63rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Tuesday. LSG has won six out of the 12 matches they have played so far in the ongoing season whereas Mumbai Indians have won seven out of the 12 games they have played.
Thus, it will be a crucial fixture for both of these two teams and they will be looking to bag a win. LSG had won their previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets and they will be looking to carry the winning impetus. Prerak Mankad, Marcus Stoinis, and Nicholas Pooran had done a fantastic job for LSG in the previous match run-chase.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have peaked at the right time in the ongoing season after getting off to a slow start. The five-time champions won their last two matches and also bagged their last match against defending champions Gujarat Titans by 27 runs.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in prolific form in the ongoing season and the talisman is going to hold the key for the Rohit Sharma-led team. However, MI’s inexperienced bowling line-up still remains a concern for the team and the bowlers will hold the key at this crucial junction of the tournament.
Match Prediction: Mumbai Indians will enter the contest as favorites against Lucknow Super Giants.
