Mumbai Indians will square off against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 69th match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday. Mumbai Indians will have to win this game at all costs in order to qualify for the playoffs whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have been already eliminated from the tournament, will want to end their season with a win.
MI had lost their previous match against Lucknow Super Giants by five runs after they could not chase down 178 runs. MI’s bowling coach Shane Bond was not pleased with their bowling as their bowlers veered off their plans and could not execute while bowling against Marcus Stoinis.
On the other hand, SRH posted a par score of 186 runs against RCB but their bowlers could not defend the target after Heinrich Klaasen continued his purple patch to score a fine hundred.
