Punjab Kings will take on Mumbai Indians in the 46th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on Wednesday. Both of these two teams had won their previous matches while chasing big scores and it is expected to be another run-fest between these two batting-heavy teams.
Meanwhile, no Punjab Kings batters had scored a fifty against CSK in their last game but they went on to chase down 201 runs. All the batters played with an impressive strike rate and thus they were able to get over the line.
Jitesh Sharma has really impressed for PBKS as he is consistently getting off to quick starts and the right-hander is adding the finishing touches.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had also chased down a huge total of 213 runs against Rajasthan Royals in the previous game. Suryakumar Yadav has got back into form, which is a huge positive for MI whereas Tim David had added the finishing touches for the team as he struck a 14-ball 45.
However, both of these teams will want to come up with a better bowling performance as their bowling line-up has let the team down so far.
Match Prediction: Mumbai Indians will enter the contest as favorites against Punjab Kings.
