The inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals will take on 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 52nd match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on Sunday. RR has slightly veered off the track as they have managed a solitary win in their last four matches.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad has managed only three wins in the nine matches they have played and they are currently in ninth place in the standings.
The Orange Army would have been disappointed after they could not chase down 172 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous game despite being in a shoo-in position.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals posted a par score of 212 runs in their last game against Mumbai Indians but their bowlers failed to defend the score.
Ergo, SRH will want to come up with an improved batting show whereas RR will want their bowlers to be up to the mark in the upcoming matches. Yashasvi Jaiswal has batted at his absolute best but RR will want more from Jos Buttler and their middle order.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will definitely enter this contest as favorites against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
