IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Gujarat Titans, Game 70 – Match Prediction

In the last league stage match of IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore will face defending champions Gujarat Titans in the 70th game at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday. The Titans have already earned their ticket to the playoffs whereas RCB will be looking to book their berth in the last four.

A win for RCB will almost assure them a place in the playoffs as they have a better NRR as compared to Mumbai Indians. In fact, RCB will play their match against GT after MI take on SRH and thus the Faf du Plessis-led team will have a clear picture of what their winning margin should be if MI wins against SRH.

RCB were able to tick the right boxes against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous match. Virat Kohli scored a blistering century and he added a fine opening alliance of 172 runs with skipper Faf du Plessis to help his team chase down 187 and bag a crucial win. However, the RCB bowlers will want to come up with a better show against GT.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans continued their good form in the previous season as they registered a convincing 34-run win against SRH after Shubman Gill scored a fine century while Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma bagged four wickets apiece. GT will look to enter the playoffs with the winning impetus on their side.

Match Prediction: Royal Challengers Bangalore will enter the contest as favorites against Gujarat Titans.
