Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 47th match of the ongoing IPL 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday. When these two teams met earlier in the season, SRH had triumphed by 23 runs and they will be looking to replicate their performance against KKR.
SRH also won their previous match against Delhi Capitals by nine runs and they will look to carry the good show. The Orange Army have been seeking momentum in the ongoing season but they have failed to achieve it.
Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen played vital knocks for SRH against DC and the other batters like Rahul Tripathi will also want to contribute to the team’s success.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders lost their last game against defending champions Gujarat Titans by seven wickets. KKR’s opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the lone warrior as he scored 80 runs from 39 balls but the rest of the batters had failed to contribute to the team’s score. Ergo, they will be looking to come up with a collective show against SRH.
Moreover, KKR also could not tick the right boxes in the bowling department and they will have to improve in all areas.
Match Prediction: Kolkata Knight Riders will enter the contest as favorites against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
