Mumbai Indians will square off against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 51st match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Friday. MI has dominated the head-to-head battle against KKR as they have won 23 out of the 32 matches they have played.
However, KKR is among the top two teams in the points table whereas MI is struggling in ninth place in the standings. KKR has come up with a collective effort and the results are palpable whereas MI is still looking for answers to some of their questions.
That MI has managed only three wins in 10 games is a testimony to their poor show. Furthermore, they have lacked a stomach for a fight in some of these losses.
