Rajasthan Royals will lock horns against Mumbai Indians in the 38th minute of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on Monday. RR is at the top of the points table with six wins in seven matches whereas Mumbai Indians have managed three wins in seven games.
When these teams met earlier in the season at Mumbai, Rajasthan won convincingly by six wickets with Trent Boult doing damage at the top of the order.
RR won their previous match against Kolkata Knight Riders in a thrilling fashion with Jos Buttler scoring a fine century. RR was able to chase down 96 runs in the last six overs against KKR with Jos Buttler doing the bulk of the scoring.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians won their last game against Punjab Kings by nine runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored a blistering knock of 78 runs whereas Jasprit Bumrah was once again sensational for the five-time champions, returning with impressive figures of 3-21 in his quota of four overs.
MI’s batting has done a good job but their bowlers need to provide more support to Jasprit Bumrah, who has been the lone warrior for his team.
