IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings – Match Prediction

Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Punjab Kings in the 69th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Sunday. After their match against Gujarat Titans was washed out on Thursday, the Orange Army was able to seal their playoffs spot.

However, this will be a great chance for SRH to finish among the top two. If Rajasthan Royals continue their slump form and lose their last league stage match against table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders, a win for SRH against PBKS will help them finish among the top two teams and play the first qualifier against KKR.

SRH has adopted an aggressive batting approach and it has worked wonders for the team. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have taken the opposition bowlers to the cleaners whereas Pat Cummins has led from the front.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings won their previous match against Rajasthan Royals by five wickets and will want to end their campaign with a win. However, they will be without the services of Jonny Bairstow and Sam Curran and out-of-form Jitesh Sharma might lead them.

PBKS had done a great job with the ball in the last game as they restricted the inaugural champions to a below-par score of 144 runs. Harshal Patel, Sam Curran, and Rahul Chahar were right on the money with the ball.

Match Prediction: Sunrisers Hyderabad will enter the contest as favorites against Punjab Kings.
