Chennai Super Kings will lock horns against Delhi Capitals in the 17th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Saturday. CSK have managed a solitary win in three matches whereas Delhi Capitals have been unbeaten so far in the tournament, winning both of their matches.
Chennai has lost their last two matches against RCB and RR after winning their opener against MI. CSK’s batting has looked insipid as the batters have failed to come up with a consistent performance.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra have been amongst the runs but the other batters have failed to contribute much in the first three matches.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals came up with an impressive bowling show against SRH in their previous game, with Mitchell Starc claiming a five-wicket haul. Furthermore, Kuldeep Yadav bagged three wickets in his quota of four overs.
Faf du Plessis also scored a fine fifty for DC against the Orange Army whereas Jake Fraser-McGurk got some crucial runs under his belt, which would do him a world of good.
