Delhi Capitals will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 48th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Tuesday. While Delhi Capitals have won six out of their nine games, KKR have managed only three wins in nine games with one no result.
The reigning champions’ batting unit hasn’t been able to deliver consistently and it has led to their downfall. Furthermore, there has been a lot of chopping and changing in the batting order, which hasn’t helped.
Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi have come up with consistent performances but barring the duo, the other batters have struggled.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals suffered a home loss in the last game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. DC could only manage 162 runs on a sluggish Delhi wicket and they would want to come up with an improved batting show.
DC had ticked the right boxes in the first half of the season and they would not want to veer off the track in the second phase of the league.
