Delhi Capitals will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday. Both teams lost their respective previous matches and they would look to get back on winning track.
Delhi would be disappointed as they had the match in their bag against Mumbai Indians but their batters could not deliver the goods in the run-chase. DC has ticked the right boxes in the tournament but the form of Jake Fraser-McGurk remains a concern.
Faf du Plessis missed the previous game due to injury and in his place, Karun Nair was able to grab his opportunity with both hands, scoring a blistering 89 off just 40 balls. Whether the South African makes a comeback to the playing XI or not, DC must find a way to play in-form Nair.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals could only post 173 runs in the last game against RCB and they must come up with an improved batting show. The RR batters haven’t been able to convert their starts into substantial scores and it is an area of concern for them.
