Gujarat Titans will lock horns against Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator contest at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh in the ongoing IPL 2025 on Friday. No team that has finished fourth in the IPL standings, has ever gone on to win an IPL title but not many would want to bet against the Mumbai Indians.
Hardik Pandya’s team had won a solitary game in their first five matches of the season and here they are in the playoffs.
On the other hand, GT’s top-three batters – Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler had done the lion’s share of the scoring. In the absence of Buttler, the middle order would need to be at their best in a crunch game like the eliminator.
