Gujarat Titans will lock horns against Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Saturday in the ongoing IPL 2025. Both GT and MI got off to a losing start in the tournament and they would look to register their maiden win of the season.
While GT suffered an 11-run loss against Punjab Kings, MI suffered a four-wicket loss against CSK.
Shubman Gill’s team conceded a huge score of 243 runs against PBKS and they would look to come up with an improved bowling show. However, they were decent with the bat as they scored 232 runs while chasing.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians will need to pull up their socks with the bat as they could only manage 155-9 against arch-rivals CSK. The return of their full-time captain Hardik Pandya will certainly add more balance to the team after he missed the opener due to a slow over-rate offense.
But MI will continue to miss the services of their gun-fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and the young players will look to grab their chances in his absence.
