IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals – Match Preview

Gujarat Titans will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals in the 23rd match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Wednesday. In the last three years since the Titans have entered the IPL, there has been a new brewing rivalry between them and the inaugural champions though the former has had a wood on the latter.

The Titans have got off to a promising start in the ongoing season, winning their last three matches on the trot after losing their opener against Punjab Kings. The heavy top order has done the lion’s share of the scoring whereas the pace battery, led by Mohammed Siraj, has been phenomenal.

Siraj, who was snubbed from India’s Champions Trophy squad, has returned back hungrier and has scalped nine wickets in four games at 13.18. Furthermore, Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore have been brilliant with the ball despite Rashid Khan not being at his usual best.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have got off to a mixed start, winning two and losing as many. However, after losing their first two matches, they have bounced back in style. Yashasvi Jaiswal was able to get the runs under his belt in the last game and it is a huge positive for the franchise.
