Lucknow Super Giants will lock horns against beleaguered Chennai Super Kings in the 30th match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Monday.
While LSG won their previous match against Gujarat Titans, CSK had a tough game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Overall, LSG has won four out of their six matches whereas CSK has managed a solitary win out of six games.
CSK could only manage 103-9 in their last game against KKR and there is no doubt that the five-time champions are struggling with the bat. None of the batters have been able to deliver the goods and if they have to stay alive in the tournament, they must come up with consistent performances.
On the other hand, there is no doubt that LSG is doing a fine job despite inexperience in their bowling line-up. Nicholas Pooran has been amazing for the team whereas Aiden Markram is also coming up with consistent performances. Mitchell Marsh is expected to return to the playing XI after missing the last game against GT.
