IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru – Match Preview

Lucknow Super Giants will square off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last league stage match of the season at Lucknow on Tuesday. RCB has the top-2 fate in their hands and if they manage to beat LSG, they will confirm their Qualifier 1 meeting with Punjab Kings.

If Rajat Patidar’s team loses, they are going to face Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator contest. RCB has received a huge boost as ace fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has joined the team. The Australian has played an instrumental role in the success of the franchise in this season, taking 18 wickets in 10 matches at 17.28.

RCB’s batting had crumbled from a commanding position in the last game against SRH and they wouldn’t want to make the same mistake in this must-win game.

On the other hand, LSG would want to end their campaign on a winning note. Mitchell Marsh had scored his maiden century in the last game against GT and he is going to hold the key at the top of the order. Furthermore, Rishabh Pant had scored a cameo of 6-ball 16, which would have given him some confidence.

LSG will miss the services of Aiden Markram, who has been asked by Cricket South Africa, to prepare for the WTC Final against Australia.
